The Old Coach House, built some 320 years ago as a coach store
and stables for a manor house that was knocked down 150 years ago to
make way for a new road.
At the end of the 19th century, the building was converted into 2 private dwellings.
However, in more recent times it was turned back into a single
establishment, restored and modernised to offer a high standard of bed
and breakfast accommodation.

There are 2 rooms on the ground floor, and these have been equipped for wheelchair use.
In addition to the normal facilities the ground floor rooms have
low-level fixtures and fittings, wheel-in showers, handrails and grab
bars.
Guests who are wheelchair users can stay in these bedrooms without any problems. In the large visitors' lounge there are card and board games, as
well as a number of books on the locality and general fiction for
guests to read.
The lounge also has a large colour television and video player.
