Cuddy's holiday Cottage is all on one level, overlooking lovely garden and open fields. Private access, with 2 sets of french doors, and on ground floor level. The accommodation is modern and bright having been renovated in 2009 and briefly comprises; Family bedroom with double bed and bunk beds, large built in wardrobe. Lovely open plan lounge/diner with sofa bed (sleeps up to 2 additional guests upon request) LCD TV and DVD player. Fully fitted, brand new kitchen, with oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher. Luxury shower room with power shower, wc, wash basin and shaver point. Guests may enjoy the garden with raised deck area, pond, summerhouse and guest parking area. Locally there is the village of Scorton which offers 2 excellent pubs - both serving good meals and fine ales!, a shop and post office, and tea room. Closeby there are all manner of activities from swimming to boating, mountain biking, walking, golf, fishing, country houses, castles, shopping, cinema and more.... Additional Information

We are in a fabulous location - peaceful and tranquil in lovely North Yorkshire countryside. Yet we are very close to excellent road links, being only 5 miles from the A1M at Scotch Corner/A66.
Richmond, with it's beautiful castle, Easby Abbey, magnificent riverside walks is only 10 minutes away by car. We are only 20 minutes into fabulous Yourkshire Dales countryside, a delight for walkers, ramblers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts. We are literally surrounded by historic houses and fabulous places of interest; Ripon and Fountains Abbey, Kiplin House, Barnard Castle, Newby Hall and Gardens.... We are an hour from beautiful York, with the Minster, The Shambles, York Dungeon, galleries, theatre, shopping. We are under an hour from cultural Newcastle and Gateshead, with The Sage, the Angel of the north, The Baltic, theatres, cinemas, riverside bars and fantastic shopping...
Locally there are several fishing lakes and rivers, 3 golf courses, paint balling, quad biking, horse riding, outdoor adventure, local cinema, swimming pools.
North Yorkshire also boasts 2 theme parks - Lightwater Valley and Flamingo Land.
