A beautifully appointed self-catering holiday cottage located in the centre of picturesque Mousehole in Cornwall. Mole Cottage has superb sea views across Mount's Bay and is within easy walking distance of excellent local restaurants and cafes. The cottage has 4 stars.

Facilities & Information

Mole cottage sleeps up to 3 people in one double bedroom and one single bedroom. We can also provide a travel cot if required.

 

High quality furnishings and appliances include digital TV, DVD player and hi-fi system in the sitting room.  The oak kitchen has ceramic hob,

electric oven, dishwasher, washer-dryer and microwave oven.

 

The shower room has a spacious 1200 x 800 shower enclosure and a heated towel rail is provided to keep towels warm and dry.

 

Bed linen is provided and beds made up for your arrival.  Bathroom towels can be provided for a small additional charge.


Additional Information

Mole cottage is grade II listed and retains original period

features.  The interior is furnished in an uncluttered, contemporary

style.

Local Information

Mousehole is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday in Cornwall.  The village has a number of fantastic restaurants, shops and galleries. 

 

Within easy reach are Newlyn and Penzance and attractions such as The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Truro, Glendurgan, Trebah, St Michael's Mount, St Ives and Tate St Ives.

 

The nearest train station is found at Penzance with regular services to St Ives and Truro.  There is an excellent bus service from Mousehole to Penzance with half-hourly buses most days.

 

Mousehole is famous for its Christmas Lights which are switched on every year in mid-December.  During this time, Tom Bawcock's Eve is celebrated (23rd December) with a lamp-lit procession through the village streets and ends with everyone sharing Star Gazey pie in The Ship Inn.  There is also an annual Carnival in August and a biennial festival called Sea Salts & Sail.
