Golden Oak is a comfortable Self Catering cosy holiday lodge. It was newly built in 2007 and is furnished to an exceptionally high standard. Golden Oak lodge is situated on a farm in picturesque East Lothian countryside providing spectacular views over the Firth of Forth.

Golden Oak holiday lodge is a comfortable and cosy holiday lodge. It was newly built in 2007 and is furnished to an exceptionally high standard. Golden Oak lodge is situated on a farm in picturesque East Lothian countryside providing spectacular views over the Firth of Forth. It is a short distance from the pretty seaside town of Dunbar and has easy access to Edinburgh within 30 minutes by road and rail.

Local Information

Along the surrounding coastline stretch lovely award winning beaches. There are an abundance of golf courses in the area with other activities available which include walking, fishing, cycling, cliff top walks, pony trekking, quad biking and a surfing school. In addition there are a number of historic sites near by including the ruins of Dunbar Castle and John Muir's birthplace. Just a short drive away is the Scottish Seabird Centre, The Concorde Experience at the Museum of flight and also East Links Family Park. Situated in Dunbar there are modern leisure facilities including a leisure pool and a number of good restaurants and interesting shops.
