Mount Pleasant is a detached Victorian house only 600 yards from the sea in a small group of houses on the edge of the attractive Pembrokeshire village of Newport. Set in large grounds within the National Park, with spectacular views over Newport Bay, Parrog, Nevern Estuary and the Preseli Mountains

Mount Pleasnt Holiday Accommodation is on three floors, the upper two of which can be separated from the lower by a fire door, making it ideal for extended families or other large groups who want to holiday together but have some private space. The lower part of the house can be completely self contained if required.

Mount Pleasant sleeps 17 in 6 bedrooms. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor: one with a double bed and one with three single beds. There is also a bathroom on this floor with a shower over the bath, toilet and hand basin. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms and another bathroom with a shower over the bath, toilet and hand basin. On the second floor are the remaining two bedrooms, each with two single beds and a stacker bed which converts to two low beds. On this floor there is also a toilet and hand basin.

On the first floor, the well-equipped kitchen contains a gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine. The living room has comfortable seating, full central heating, freeview TV/video/DVD player and a dining table which seats 17 (the main table and a drop leaf table).

Our accommodation offers a second living/dining room and kitchen on the ground floor with sofa and easy chairs, freeview TV and a dining table which seats 4/5. This kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave and fridge freezer.

Outside is a private garden, shared grounds with lawn and a patio area with garden furniture, BBQ and lights.

Electricity and bed linen included but please bring your own towels and tea towels. A cot and highchair are available on request. The first £10 (first £20 in winter) of gas for the central heating and hot water is included, remainder by £1 coin meter. Ample parking is available for 6 cars. Up to 2 well behaved pets are welcome at an additional charge of £18 per pet per week. No smoking is permitted in the house. Short break enquiries are welcome.

We have character cottages for 2 and also 4 and a large house sleeping 17. Please note that we are not an agency and so offer reasonable rates by offering the opportunity to book directly with us, the owners. Weekly + short  holiday breaks available all year round.

Set in large grounds within the National Park, with spectacular views over Newport Bay, Parrog, Nevern Estuary, Preseli Mountains. Ideally placed for beaches, water sports, walking the coastal paths, golfing and pony trekking in the pretty surrounding countryside, on Preseli, touring Pembrokeshire, visiting interesting towns, villages and historic sites. Shops, pubs and restaurants 500 yards.

Newport has often been called the pearl of  the Pembrokeshire coastline being centrally located in the Pembrkeshire Coast National Park ideal for exploring the area.

We are in a privileged position with the Preselis on one side and Newport Bay and the Nevern estuary on the other.
It is in an ideal position for walking both mountains and coast and also within easy reach of many picturesque villages and towns such as Solva and St.Davids ( Britain's smallest city)  and Fishguard which runs daily ferries to Ireland.
