Facilities & InformationWe have 2 double bedrooms and one single. Price is £25 per person per night, we offer comfortable non-smoking rooms, with complimentary hostess tray and colour TV. Our substantial breakfast includes fruit juice, various cereals, full English breakfast using fresh local products, plentiful tea or coffee and toast with a choice of preserves, a choice of dishes including vegetarian and vegan options. There is an attractive garden to sit in and easy parking.
A bus stop and train station are 5 minutes walk from the house, where there are regular services to Whitby, York and Middlesbrough. In Sleights, within walking distance, there are 2 pubs, a café, Butcher, Baker, General Store, Post Office, Fish & Chip Restaurant, and a popular garden centre with a riverside café. .
Beechlands B&B in Sleights is set on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Walk along the stunning sea cliffs, visit beautiful beaches and the picturesque moorlands covered in miles of purple heather. The area has a lot to offer: there are woodlands, streams, waterfalls, historic buildings and picturesque villages to discover. The North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway covers 18 scenic miles through the National Park and stops at many traditional villages, including the village of Sleights. It's a stunning place to visit with plenty of charm and character. Additional InformationBeechlands is a good base to visit some of the beautiful places in the area. Days can be spent visiting coastal towns and villages: Whitby, Scarborough, Sandsend, Runswick Bay, Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay are all nearby.
