Facilities & Information
Outside: There is a shared courtyard area with picnic bench seating for each cottage. You are welcome to wander over the stile into the orchard in front of the cottages if you wish. Ample parking is available adjacent to the cottages.
Inside: Shared entrance porch to front door entering into hallway with a lockable cupboard for outdoor clothing, boots, etc leading to shared utility room with washer/dryer and fridge which can be used to store bait (if you are a fisherman). A secure shed is also available for storage of fishing equipment. We would respectfully ask that no bait, outdoor fishing clothing or fishing gear is stored inside the cottages.
Downstairs: open plan lounge with TV/DVD/Freeview digibox, comfortable seating for five people, coffee table, dining area with dining table and five chairs; kitchen with single oven/grill, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge (not for bait please), kettle, toaster, etc; bathroom with toilet, sink and bath with shower attachment.
Upstairs: a galleried landing with two single beds leading to a cosy bedroom with one double and one single bed. General: Unfortunately we do not accept pets either in the cottages or at the lakeside.
The cottages are no-smoking zones - we appreciate your co-operation in this matter. If you wish to smoke outside, we would ask that you do so away from the entrance and dispose of your cigarette ends responsibly. (Breach of this condition will automatically result in the retention of your breakages deposit - see full terms and conditions). Gas-fired central heating, electricity, hot water, bed linen and FREE FISHING are all included in the cost of your holiday.

Local Information
Kingston Seymour is a small rural village on the coast between Clevedon and Weston super Mare. The village church is a grade 1 listed building and worth a visit.
A walk to the seawall is also worth a trip - the area is a designated SSSI (site of special scientific interest) and is renowned for its bird-life so remember to bring your binoculars.
The town of Clevedon is 4.5 miles away with its restored Victorian Pier and Bandstand, Poet’s Walk, Salt House Playing Fields and National Trust property Clevedon Court. The Strawberry Line is a very popular cycling trail converting the old railway line from Clevedon to Cranmore into a network of safe paths for walkers, cyclists, families and residents to enjoy.
At Wraxall (halfway between Kingston Seymour & Bristol) is the recently acquired National Trust property Tyntesfield House - well worth a visit in our opinion.
We are just 15 miles south of the city of Bristol with endless attractions such as the Cathedral, the Zoo, the SS Great Britain, The Matthew, Clifton Suspension Bridge, the Museum, the excellent @Bristol complex and the brand-new Cabot Shopping Centre
At Junction 17 of the M5 there is the very popular shopping mall at Cribbs Causeway.
In the opposite direction we are 12 miles from the popular seaside resort of Weston super Mare with the Seaquarium, Pier (it is currently being rebuilt following a fire) and shops and, of course, the beach and donkey rides.
Bath, with its many attractions is easily reached by car or by train (Yatton railway station is 2.5 miles away, 5 minutes drive from the cottages).
Other notable areas to visit are Cheddar Gorge and Caves; Wookey Hole and Caves; the historic City of Wells with its beautiful Cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace; Glastonbury with its beautiful and mystical Tor; The Mendip Hills for walking. Have a look at the Hidden Somerset website for some interesting places too. There are also many good local walks.
