You are here: Home / Self Catering Holidays / South West / Cornwall / PenzanceAboutThis newly refurbished one bedroom holiday apartment is situated in the heart of the busy fishing village of Newlyn between Penzance and Mousehole. Previously the Troika Pottery, this modern and spacious apartment is an ideal base from which to explore the far west of Cornwall.
Facilities & InformationTroika Apartment has been refurbished for the new season. It is well equipped with all modern conveniences such as cooker and microwave, washing machine/dryer, fridge, kettle, iron and ironing board for the ladies, plus FreeView Sky.
The sofa bed in the lounge makes into a proper size and very comfortable bed (sprung mattress) and it is therefore possible to accommodate couples with children and even four adults at a push. For those with children, satellite TV is also installed in the bedroom so you can put the kids to bed in the lounge and retire to the bedroom...! All linen, quilts, pillows and towels are supplied. Heat, light etc are included in the price. There is a clean and modern shower room with unlimited hot water and good water pressure. Additional InformationNewlyn is ideally positioned for those wishing to explore the very west of Cornwall with Sennen Cove, Portcurno (Minnack theatre and amazing beach) and Lands End all within 30 minutes to the west and St Ives and the miles of golden sand at Hayle, a short drive to the east. Newlyn itself is a very interesting little village, with the working harbour and fish market just two minutes walk across the road from the holiday let apartment. There you can see the fish being landed from the large trawlers or walk the pontoons in the harbour to see the local bass fishermen bring their catch ashore.
Troika holiday apartment is in a small, cobbled side street in the oldest "Fradgan" area of Newlyn and therefore, parking has to be on the pay and display car park next to the fish market but this is no more than 100 yds away and inexpensive.
