AboutEastcroft is a traditional crofter's cottage built in 1858.
It is situated in the small peaceful community of Lochdon that is built around the shores of a sea loch. The views from the holiday cottage are beautiful, it is a very relaxing place to be far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Facilities & InformationThe lounge is comfortable with an open fire which provides central heating, there are electric heaters in all rooms and an immersion heater for hot water, in case you do not want to light the fire. There is a large television with freeview, a hi-fi with varied cd's and an assortment of books for rainy days.
The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave various small appliances and a small tv with freeview. There is also a dining table and chairs for four people. Additional InformationEastcroft is a crofter's cottage, still in the same family ownership since it was built in 1858. It has been modernised to today's standards but still retains it's charm.
There are beautiful views over the sea loch and many different species of birds can be seen, including sea eagles which are often at Lochdon. There is an abundance of wildlife and seen are usually to be seen around the loch. It's the perfect place for bird watchers, nature lovers, walkers, artists, photographers or just for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
