A spacious 3 bed Lakeland Holiday cottage nestled in Silecroft only 1 mile from beautiful cobblestone and sand beach. Hike up Black Coombe from the front door, then stop off at the pub around the corner or take a scenic drive to Coniston or Windermere to access all Lakeland treasures. Dogs welcome.

The front foor opens onto the well stocked kitchen dining room which has a large farmhouse table and seating for 6. The kitchen has electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. There is a washing machine for use in the utility room and a tumble dryer and frezer in the garage.
The spacious lounge has an open fire and TV, DVD, CD radio, open fire and a supply of CD's, DVD's, books and games.

The stairs from the lounge lead to the first floor with Bedroom 1: With twin beds and Bedroom 2: With double bed
Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.
On the second Floor is Bedroom 3: With double bed.

Outside: Enclosed rear courtyard. Lawned garden across the road. Garage for storing bikes etc. Parking for 3 cars.

Local Information

In the village you can ride heavy horses along the beach and fells with Cumbrian Heavy Horses. Or learn to horse ride at Murthwaite Green.

Silecroft beach regularly has fishing competitons and local kite surfers to watch. the RSPB reserve can be reached by walking along the beach to Hodbarrow.

You can drive or catch the train to Ravensglass where you can join Lal Ratty steam trains and ride to Boot in the heart of the Lakes. Or visit Muncaster castle with its regular entertainment and Owlery.

Cartmel races, Holker Hall and mMichelin restaurant L'Enclume are a 30 minute drive away.

You can also access Coniston and Windermere via several Lake dstrict roads wither through the Duddon Valley, along Ulpha beck, over Honister pass or along the A595.
