Local Information

Church Bay is a sandy bay with rock pools and steep cliffs. It is located on the north west coast of Anglesey.

With each tide the sea comes in nearly to the cliffs, and goes out leaving a beautifully clean expanse of sand.

The Bay is mostly peaceful as speed boats avoid the area beacause of some rocky out crops.

The Bay is especially ideal for families and small children. Because of its Blue Flag status a Warden is on patrol when the flag is on show.
The nearby carpark has toilets and baby changing facilities.

The Wavecrest Cafe and Lobster Pot Restaurant are at the Bay. The Church bay pub is less than a half mile walk away.

The Anglesey Coastal Path runs along the cliff tops.

Swtan, the last thatched cottage in Anglesey is at the Bay - it is now a museum.
