Facilities & Information

Alongside the 36 bedrooms the hotel has two bars, The Club Bar and The Patio Bar, both serving delicious snacks and meals throught the day. Locally made beers and spirits from Adnams, and cider from Aspalls are popular with hotel guests.

The restaurant overlooking the golf course is open each evening and for Sunday Lunch.

The menu changes daily with dishes freshly prepared in our own kitchens, by our talented Head Chef and his team. Fresh fish, locally reared poultry, game, and meats, fresh vegetables and fruits, are featured on the menus.

The 18 hole golf course is often compared to Woodhall Spa. Set amongst beautiful coastal countryside in one of the driest parts of the country, the course is often open when others have to close. Playable all year round the course is a challenge for even the low handicap player.

During the Summer guests can dine on the terrace or in the gardens alongside The Meare. You can watch the boats sail by, or relax with a few drinks.

The hotel offers free use of rowing boats from Easter to October, cycle hire, and free tennis for most of the year .

For quieter momments there is a drawing room and library with card tables and board games.
