Jolly Farmers is situated in an area of Nature conservation and SSSI. For this reason it is a lovely getaway and you will find the unspoilt surroundings a really relaxing experience right away from towns, cities and the rat-race. 

 

There is a strong sense of community spirit, brought about by hundreds of years of hard work and farming business enterprise. People are friendly and welcoming.

 

You will enjoy many local walks and drives, there are some excellent local pubs and restaurants nearby including the famous Fox and Goose in Fressingfield.

 

Jolly Farmers is adjacent to a 40-acre common which is home to free roaming horses which come and visit the gates to Jolly Farmers. This common has not been farmed for 500 years and is home to many rare species of wildlife. 

Local Information

The Heritage coast is only a short 25 min drive away, with Southwold, its Pier, Dunwich, Aldeburgh and many more seaside beaches with their sandy shores and local villages and towns.

 

Many other local attractions include Gardens, Boating, The Broads, Fishing and Golf. Transport and Aviation museums such as Flixton are nearby , the area is surrounded by many disused WW2 airfields.

 

Lots to see and do for the young ones including Africa Alive, Oasis Camel Centre, Wroxham Barns, Jimmy's Farm, Gressenhall Working Museum of Rural life with its Shire Horse-ploughed fields, farm, workhouse and real Victorian School - a real treat out for all alike..
