AboutBakehouse Cottage is a cosy 2 bedroom cottage that is situated in the heart of the quaint market town of Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria. You can relax and unwind in front of the open fire or walk to the handful of pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes which are all within a minutes' walk.
Facilities & InformationThe 2 bedroom cottage can sleep upto 4 persons: Bedroom 1: Larger double aspect room with double bed and ample clothes storage space. Alarm clock and electric blanket. Bedroom 2: Double bed with wardrobe. Bathroom: Fully fitted bathroom with bath and demand shower. Living Room: Cosy but spacious living room with a working open fire (fuel not provided), 2 double sofas, hi-fi (with mp3 cable), television and dvd player. The bookcase contains a few DVDs, cds and board games. Kitchen: Tastefully refurbished kitchen with traditional granite work tops, electric range cooker, extractor, microwave, fridge/freezer, radio/CD player and washing machine. The table seats 4 or 6 if it is extended. There is ample cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment for 6 people.
Bed linen and towels are not provided so please bring your own. There are duvets and plenty of pillows and blankets. There are no cots, stair gates, fire guards nor high chairs available for young children. Well behaved pets are allowed.

We currently offer very reasonable rates and will take bookings for any rental period required subject to availability. The rates are outlined as follows:
Additional nights charged at £35/night. Longer lets can be negotiated on an individual basis. High Season: Easter week, Spring Bank Holiday week, Christmas & New Year Weeks, July & August. Mid Season: May with the exception of high season exclusions, June & September. Low Season: All other periods not stated above.
