Dog friendly self catering holiday cottage on Holy Island - Lindisfarne, Berwick upon Tweed. The cottage which dates back to 1760 sleeps up to 4 and is situated right in the centre of the island.

Facilities & Information

Downstairs there is a living room / dining room with a log fire, 32" TV and DVD with a large selection of films.  Also a CD player and radio.

 

Also downstairs is a large bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and a small sunny enclosed courtyard with table and chairs for sitting out.

 

Up stairs are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has ensuite facilities and a king sized bed.  The second bedroom has two single beds.

 


Additional Information

We are dog and pet friendly, we have had dogs, cats and even an African Grey parrott stay, all are very welcome.

Local Information

The cottage is situated right in the centre of Holy Island, which is cut off from the mainland twice a day when the tide comes in.  This gives the island a peaceful and magical feeling as the day trippers leave.

The cottage is a great base for exploring the heritage of Lindisfarne and the surrounding Northumberland coastline with its wonderful walks, unspoilt beaches,  castles and wildlife.
