Greetham Retreat is located in the heart of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds in open countryside. We have three cottages or apartments especially for just 2 people. They are all modern & stylish with open plan lounges, fully equipped kitchens and with one bedroom plus en suite bath or shower rooms.

Greetham Retreat offers 3 smaller and stylish cottages and apartments in the Lincolnshire Wolds near to Horncastle which are perfect just for couples. With fabulous scenery, historic market towns and several seaside resorts with beautiful sandy beaches nearby, there really is something for everyone. The 3 very stylish cottages/apartments for couples are:-

Rose's Rest:
This cottage is on the ground floor, the open plan living area includes a lounge that has leather sofas, flatscreen TV and DVD, a breakfast bar and two stools lpus a fully fitted kitchen. It sleeps 2 in a king sized bed with an en suite shower room. It has high ceilings with original beams and is comfortable, warm and cosy.

Laura's Loft:
This is a very cosy and private apartment for 2 people. It has its own entrance door and stairs leading to the accommodation. There is an open plan living room with leather sofas, flatscreen TV and DVD, oak dining table and leather chairs plus fully fitted modern kitchen. The double bedroom has an en suite and luxury whirlpool spa bath.

Wendy's Wing:
Wendy's Wing is dog friendly ground floor cottage that sleeps 2 people. The living area is open plan and agin includes leather sofas, flatscreen TV and DVD, oak dining table and leather chairs plus fully fitted modern kitchen. The bedroom has a super king sized bed which can become two single beds if required. The bathroom is a luxury stylish wet room and would be suitable for accompanied wheelchair users.

Cot and high chair is available on request.

All crockery, bed linen, towels, tea towels, heating and other utilities are included into the price.

These are three great cottages and apartments for up to 2 people. Ideal for those who want a relaxing and private holiday together in the English countryside, but with all the facilities expected for modern living.

Additional Information

Greetham Retreat is nestled in its own extensive yet private grounds which extend to 4 acre and contain areas of woodland, wild-flower meadows, natural hedgerows and wildlife ponds, all of which are freely available for your exploration along the mown paths. This is the perfect location for that relaxing getaway so why not spoil yourself and come to Greetham Retreat.

We enjoy a delightfully tranquil and stunning position which is home to abundant wildlife, plants and birds with seating areas taking advantage of the panoramic views. This is where the stresses of life are left behind.

A shared courtyard with a south west aspect with outdoor tables and chairs is available for your use and is a real sun trap.

Plenty of off road parking available next to your cottage.

Pets welcome in both Rose's Rest and Wendy's Wing at a small extra charge. However, we allways keep Laura's Loft pet free.

We can also offer Holistic therapies and massage treatments during your stay. Please ask for details at time of booking.

Short breaks of 3 or 4 nights also available all year round

Local Information

Greetham Retreat is situated in the heart of the rolling hills and valleys of the Lincolnshire Wolds an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) which has 216 square miles of spectacular countryside and peaceful villages. It is the perfect place to unwind for those who appreciate the quite enjoyment of the ever changing countryside.

However, it is only minutes away from the bustling market towns of Horncastle and Louth, which are superb for antique hunting and their varied selection of independent local shops.

Also with reasonable travelling distance is the East Coast seaside resorts of Skegness, Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe all with large safe sandy beaches. The historic City of Lincoln is a must; with its fantastic cathedral, heritage and cobbled streets.

Nearby you will find plenty to do as the following attractions are all within easy an travelling distance: Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Tattershall Castle, Gunby Hall, Cadwell Park, Market Rasen Racecourse, Golf Courses, Nature Reserves, Kinema in the Woods plus activities such as birdwatching, walking, cycling and fishing.
