Additional InformationBeach Folly is a well equipped, sunny seaside cottage, situated just 150 yards from the glorious sandy beach. This Victorian beachside cottage has stunning views of the sea, river and harbour mouth. Well maintained and well equipped, it is ideal for families or couples looking for a real seaside holiday and a great base for exploring the numerous beauty spots of Norfolk and Suffolk, including the National Park and the fine city of Norwich.
There are lots of lovely places to go to eat out within a few minutes walk. Pubs, Restaurants, Cafes and Take Aways are also closeby. The Pavilion Theatre offers a good range of entertainment to suit all tastes, all year round.

Gorleston has the reputation of being Norfolk's 'best kept secret' with its golden sandy beach which is Lifeguard patrolled in the summer season. The beach is great for bathing, building sand castles, watersports, windsurfing, angling etc. Adjoining the beach is a children's paddling pooland the yacht pond, together with a small row of beachside shops where you can buy ice creams, food and seaside sundries.
Gorleston Bandstand is in sight and sound of the cottage. Every summer Sunday guest bands entertain holiday makers, enjoy from the cottage, orwalk across the road and take a seat by the bandstand. The cliff top is just a couple of minutes walk, with beautiful gardens, tennis courts, bowling and putting greens, a trim train and Pirate Ship play area,something for every member of the family.
Gorleston Pier and beach are favourite spots for sea anglers offering good fishing all year round. The Norfolk Broads National Park provides a great place for bird watching.
