Facilities & Information

Our Luxury Holiday home was built during the 1970's set on a former orchard used for cider production, hence the name and the remaining small orchard in the grounds. Sitting in its own extensive plot, directly overlooking the beautiful ancient 15th century Saxon village church of St James, with its clock tower and the adjoining beautiful old rectory now a family residence. From the lounge there are also views across the valley to Lawrence Castle at Haldon Belvedre on the horizon. Set in 2 acres of grounds ascending to the upper gardens and paddock with its full panoramic view of the Teign Valley and over to the wilds of Dartmoor an ideal spot to enjoy with a glass of wine and a book perhaps.

Entering through the front of the house you are set within the heart of the quiet village but inside you are totally private and secluded and at the rear the property then sits on the edge of the rural pastures that lay beyond.

The house is offered with excellent facilities and the very best in luxurious living. All fittings, decoration and equipment are of a quality and finish you would expect and the overall living and holiday experience will not disappoint.
