Additional Information

The building is of great historical interest having been built in 1860 as a Meeting Hall for The Primrose League, (named after Benjamin Disraili's favorite flower) a political body which allowed Women members, long before Women had the vote. It therefore became the focus of the village, and is still very beloved by the locals today.

The village of Empingham boasts a traditional pub that serves hot food all day, a village shop open 7 days a week, a Doctors Surgery and a Hairdressers.
